My background is in statistical mechanics, including kinetic theory, finite temperature density functional theory and computer simulation (Monte Carlo, Molecular Dynamics, Kinetic Monte Carlo, simulation of stochastic dynamics, ...). Some of the areas I have worked in are the transport properties of sheared fluids, granular systems, theory of nucleation and crystal growth.
