Jean-Baptiste Salmon obtained his PhD in the field of the rheology of complex fluids in 2003 at Centre de Recherche Paul Pascal (Pessac, France). He then investigated mass transport phenomena within microfluidic flows at ESPCI (Paris). Since 2004, He worked at the joint laboratory LOF between Solvay, CNRS and University of Bordeaux (Pessac, France) as a CNRS researcher (, France). His research deals with soft matter physics, chemical engineering and microfluidics.
